"George to George," Shaping the Nation by our Constitution by Thomas Borcher

    View Details

Please join us as Constitutional Law expert Thomas Borcher discusses the specific roles of the three branches of the government - Executive, Judicial and Legislative - along with how the Constitution guides the actions of the president. He will review the beginnings of the Executive Branch with George Washington, and explore how George H.W. Bush followed that model.

Intended for grades 4-8, the program is offered free of charge. Teachers, if you are unable to bring your students to the program, you can still participate through www.connect2texas.net.

Texas A&M University Chemistry Roadshow by Dr. Jim Pennington

    View Details

Join us on October 24 at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to ignite imaginations and engage students using chemistry demonstrations with fire, explosions, weird polymers, and super cold materials.

Chemistry contributes to medical education and is the foundation on which the human body functions. It is the key to life and the foundation for scientific research. President and Mrs. Bush supported and encouraged medical research involving chemistry to find cures for cancer.

To register on site, email bush.education@nara.gov or call 979-691-4006.
