The Bush Presidential Library and Museum Presents the 2016 Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

COLLEGE STATION, Nov, 16, 2016 – On December 1, 2016 officials from the community will light the  George Bush Presidential Library Center's Community Christmas Tree. Modeled after the tree lighting ceremony that takes place annually on the White House grounds, the ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. and will include musical entertainment and celebrity guest tree lighters. The ceremony will take place outside, and a reception will follow inside.

Throughout the month, people are encouraged to take their family pictures in front of the beautifully decorated, beautifully lit tree.

The museum store will also be open during this event. Stop by and purchase the new 2016 Bush Presidential Library Christmas tree ornament.

The Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours will take place in the rotunda following the lighting ceremony. This is an excellent networking opportunity and chance to find out how the Chamber can help businesses.

New toys and non-perishable food items will be collected to help make a difference in the Brazos Valley this Christmas! The Bush Library will be donating toys to Toys for Tots and food to the Food for Families Food Drive.
