Starting Monday, October 27, the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum will operate on a limited schedule due to the federal government shutdown.

Revised hours until the government reopens:
Monday–Thursday: Closed
Friday–Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

The James A. Baker, III Pavilion and Daisy’s Table will remain open daily as follows:
Monday–Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Field Trip Reservations


The Bush Library and Museum's education program welcomes school children of all ages in a variety of onsite and online programming. All of the education programs are free for students to attend. For more information, click on the links below or use the form below to plan your field trip.

We're excited you're thinking about a Museum Field Trip! Everyone is welcome!

  • Students, Faculty and Staff of schools Pre-K to 12th receive free admission.
  • Most field trips need 30 days of notice, except Self-Guided museum tours.
  • To receive free admission for Self-Guided field trips complete your reservation two weeks prior to arrival.
  • If you have questions, please email: bush.education@nara.gov.

There are no field trip reservations during the federal government shudown.
